The Resume is Dead - Building Brand YOU

With Nate Riggs

Wednesday, May 11 at 6 p.m. (location TBA)

The lines between real life and life on the Internet have blurred. With the economy still in recovery and a hyper-competitive job market, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and blogs are where employers are going first to identify potential job candidates and make hiring decisions.

But here’s the good news.  These conversation tools also give savvy users the power to stand out from the competition. The choice is yours. If you fail to use them to join the conversation online, you will stay invisible.

In this session, social business consultant and blogger, Nate Riggs will lead you through high-level strategic ideas that will teach you:

  • How to use the Internet and social networks to expand your personal brand through story telling
  • Routines, practices and behaviors that will help you adopt a personal branding mentality
  • Tactical tips and tricks to use online tools to connect with the right people in real life
